Alaska Railroad Depot

Historic downtown train station where scenic journeys begin — connecting Anchorage to Seward, Talkeetna, Denali, and Fairbanks. A classic Alaskan experience. The walk between the Depot and Snob Hollow Inn is about five minutes, and there are sidewalks and street lights the whole way! No taxi needed, as long as you can manage your luggage. 

Anchorage Trolley Tour

A narrated ride through Anchorage — a fun way to explore the city and learn about Anchorage’s history. The Anchorage Trolley Tours start at end at the Log Cabin Visitor's Center at the corner of 4th Ave and F Street. 

Tony Knowles Coastal Trail

One of the most scenic trails in Anchorage — this 11 mile multi-use trail is perfect for walking, biking, or watching the sunset over Cook Inlet. The trailhead is two minutes away from Snob Hollow Inn at the end of 2nd Ave. 

Kincaid Park

A huge park full of forest trails, wildlife, and ocean views — great for a picnic or afternoon hike. You'll need a car to get to Kincaid Park from Snob Hollow Inn. 

Anchorage Museum

Modern, interactive museum showcasing Alaskan history, art, and culture — a must-see downtown. As Mandy always says, "No visit to Anchorage is complete without a stop at the Anchorage Museum." The Museum is located at the corner of 6th Avenue and C Street, and it takes about 12 minutes to walk there from Snob Hollow Inn. 

Town Square Park

A lively downtown park and popular spot for visitors — enjoy seasonal events, live music, and a true taste of Anchorage’s local atmosphere. Free concerts and events are scheduled year-round at Town Square Park. Check the schedule and see what's happening during your stay!
